Global Citizenship Education and Capacity Building – UNODC

Led design and implementation of curricula and capacity-building activities for educators, to promote justice, child rights, gender equality and GCED in primary, secondary schools and in the NFE. Delivered trainings in Kenya, Malawi, DRC, Ethiopia and Malta.

Migration Research and Capacity Building – IOM

Supported IOM’s capacity-building efforts through the development of tools for rigorous, ethically sound research. Development of a capacity building methodology, training pack and research guide addressed to IOM field staff.

Post-Doc Research, UNIVERSITY OF INNSBRUCK, Austria

Design and implementation of a post-doc project financed by the Tiroler Wissenschaftsförderung (TWF), titled “Mobility and Family Transformation: Parents and children’s perspectives on mediation strategies”. The project uses participatory child-centered research to elicit children and parents’ perspectives on family rules on digital media use.

Emkan Education

Assessment of K-12 public education and teacher preparation programs for arts & culture subjects in Italy and guidance to Emkan team to inform the design of a national arts & culture framework for KSA.

Design and delivery of multiple thematic and hands-on seminars on qualitative research, focusing on childhood studies, sociology of childhood, CAFAAG, sociology of family, childhood and digital media, childhood and migration, participatory research methods with children.
